If tamarind kernels are used for sowing in the farm so that tamarind can be cultivated, then it's HSN will be 1209 and then it does not attract GST. However, if tamarind seeds have any other use, such as it is sold to the miller so that it can be used for commercial or industrial purpose, then it will come in HSN 1207, and its supply will attract GST @ 5%.
